Insert a preconfigured microSD card and securely boot a Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 2009 environment with your applications and data files. When you're done, remove the drive and leave nothing behind.
The Hydra Privacy Card® Series II family turns commodity MicroSD cards into military-grade encrypted data storage, manages sharing of confidential documents, and acts as a security token. And that’s just the start.
The first in a new series of secure USB flash drives, this device uses patented Secured by SPYRUS™ technology to deliver unsurpassed levels of security and encryption to government and enterprise customers.

"The Most Significant Breach of US Military Computers Ever"
was caused by a malware-loaded USB flash drive. Plugging the drive into an American military laptop at a base in the Middle East amounted to "a digital beachhead, from which data could be transfered to servers under foreign control,"
according to William J. Lynn III, deputy secretary of defense.
This could not have happened if SPYRUS Hydra Privacy Card® (Hydra PC™) portable encryption devices were in use.
- Data Containment: Keys can be reconstituted only if K of N security components are present. HPC cannot be unlocked outside of a security domain, even if the password is known. Adversary or rogue cannot compromise device or contents.
- Assign specific devices to specific systems for absolute control.
- Block unauthorized devices: An unauthorized device is no longer a threat.
- Every file is encrypted under a unique key.
- Files are sealeddevice serial number and timestamp are embedded, preventing alteration.
- Altered files are blocked from decryption, so worms and viruses cannot be triggered.
- Sentry A-V: Files are scanned for viruses before encryption and again before decryption.
- Two- (or more) Man Control: One person unlocks the device; another unlocks one or more files on it.
